Offspring Films was founded by award-winning Executive Producer Alex Williamson. Prior to setting up Offspring, Alex was a senior member of the BBC Natural History Unit. As Head of Development, he oversaw the creation and commission of a raft of critically acclaimed series including Planet Earth 2; Wonders of the Monsoon and Animal Super Senses.
Over 20 years, Alex has built a reputation for delivering stunning series that capture the world in fresh, innovative ways. He has worked for production companies in Los Angles, London and Bristol delivering a range of genres from natural history to fact ent formats; specialist factual shows and observational documentaries. His series have been BAFTA and Grierson nominated and won numerous RTS awards.

A co-founder of Offspring Films, Isla manages all strategic, commercial and operational aspects of the business. Over a 20-year career working in international broadcast, digital publishing, and distribution industries - she has built a reputation for her astute business acumen and for delivering innovative programming and creative excellence through international collaboration.
Before joining Offspring, Isla led the international commercial teams at Discovery Education, Channel 4 Learning and Pilot Productions. Delivering global partnerships and brokering key deals to facilitate expansion into new territories.












Helen has over 20 years production experience in the UK independent sector. Having worked across genres throughout her career from natural history to animation she has an intimate knowledge of the production process.
Helen has overseen projects for all major broadcasters in the US and the UK. She is passionately committed to delivering and supporting high quality production values.
